SIP stands in short for Session Initiation Protocol and is a new and innovative technology in the world of telecommunication. This technology essentially differs from the usual ones used, as it relies on IP technology and not copper, or optic cable physical connections. Transmitting calls via a data network or IP connection allows for more interchanging calls, not only between the company itself and its many branches but also between it and other customer companies, allowing even conference calls if needed.
